Some of the new viruses are getting clever in the way that they hijack your Internet Explorer and change your Proxy Settings so that whatever you search for, you are redirected to a different spyware site. You will have to change your proxy settings to get rid of viruses like these, and it will have to be done by you and you only, until automatic tools have the capability to do so automatically.
1.) Open Internet Explorer Options
Start Internet Explorer and click on the Tools option button. Then select Internet Options as shown here:
2.) Change Lan Settings
Click on the Connections tab and choose Lan Settings as shown here:
3.) Uncheck Proxy Setting
Uncheck the box Use a proxy server for your Lan and click OK:
Your Internet Explorer proxy settings are now back to normal.
